The Comedy of Errors: Cast Announcement

The Shakespeare on the Lawn (SOTL) team is excited to announce the cast for this year’s production of The Comedy of Errors! For roughly half the cast this will be their first SOTL production, and we are thrilled to have them joining us.

SOTL regulars and 2024 cast members Nate Jorgenson and Ben Sheridan will be playing our lead Antipholi. Also returning from last year’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream are Ashton Hale (Dromio of Ephesus), who is hopping from the crew list to the cast list; Jamal Johnson (Luce); and Elizabeth Nigg (Courtesan), who received a Cloris Award nomination for her performance in A Midsummer Night’s Dream along with Jorgenson. We are excited to welcome back returning SOTL regulars Sean Canuso (Angelo), Jonathan deLima (Egeon), Mason Ferguson (Second Merchant), Jen Green (Lady Abbess), and Brittny Rebhuhn (Dromio of Syracuse) as well as newcomers Whit Ellsworth (Dr. Pinch), Jordyn Johnstad (Adriana), Wes McPike (Officer/Jailer), Kiernan McReynolds (Luciana), Zane McSheehy (First Merchant), and Zachary Smith (Duke).

Thank you to everyone who came out to audition. It was great to see so many new and familiar faces – we hope to work with you all in the future!

The Comedy of Errors runs July 16-20, 2025 at the Salisbury House & Gardens. Learn more and get your tickets at https://shakespeareonthelawn.com. You won’t want to miss this rendition of one of Shakespeare’s most outrageous comedies!
